Do I need a W9?

Now that you are being taxed as an S-Corp, you should provide your updated W-9 to whoever pays you, so that your payments are issued to the business, and at year-end, your 1099 is issued to the business, rather than you personally.

Formations provides an updated W-9 for you once your business has been formed, you can find this under the Documents tab.
